My application name - Through Park Sang-guk's notes, he is reflecting on the nature of expression and its depth in his work. He describes the process of throwing thoughts and measuring depth, and describes how important the unconscious actions that take place in this process are. It emphasizes that the act of throwing paint on canvas is not just a work, but contains improvised and accidental moments that build essential shapes.

The artist pays attention to the clarity of the space from which excessive shapes have been removed, and explores the depth found in the harmony of simplified aspects. He talks about the complex feeling created by the soft emotion or warmth flowing in this simplicity and the overlapping of objects symbolized by simple lines. He argues that this aesthetic experience evokes visual pleasure, and its essence is revealed only by looking at it for a long time.

His work places greater emphasis on the composition of the face, the division of color faces, color contrast, and the harmony of surface texture than on the representation of realistic forms. This approach proves that he is exploring new horizons of expression and emphasizes that the process of pursuing inner order while forming an intense screen leads to original results.

Writer Park Sang-guk expects all these elements to combine to create ANOTHER SPACE, another new and diverse space. This shows that the art he creates is a work of both depth and breadth in that it extends beyond the visual and to the realm of emotion and thought.​

그는 자신의 작업에서 표현의 본질과 그 깊이에 대해 성찰하고 있다. 그는 생각을 던져 깊이를 재는 과정을 기술하며, 이 과정에서 이루어지는 무의식적 행위가 얼마나 중요하다고 느끼는지에 대해 서술하고 있다. 물감을 캔버스에 던지는 행위는 단순한 작업이 아니라, 본질적인 형상을 구축하는 즉흥적이고 우연한 순간이 포함되어 있다는 점을 강조한다. 

작가는 과도한 형상이 제거된 공간이 주는 명쾌함에 주목하며, 단순화된 면의 조화 속에서 발견되는 깊이감을 탐구한다. 그는 이러한 단순미 속에서 부드러운 감정이나 따스함이 흐르고, 단순한 선으로 상징되는 대상의 중첩이 만들어내는 복합적인 느낌에 대해 이야기한다. 이러한 미적 경험은 시각적 쾌감을 불러일으키고, 오랜 시간 바라보는 것으로 비로소 그 본질이 드러난다고 그는 주장한다.

그의 작업은 사실적인 형태의 재현보다 면의 구성, 색 면의 분할, 색채 대비, 그리고 표면 질감의 조화에 더 큰 중점을 두고 있다. 이러한 접근은 그가 표현의 새로운 지평을 탐색하고 있다는 것을 증명하며, 강렬한 화면을 형성하면서도 내면의 질서를 추구하는 과정이 독창적인 결과로 이어진다는 점을 강조한다.

박상국 작가는 이 모든 요소들이 어우러져 ANOTHER SPACE, 즉 또 다른 새롭고 다양한 공간을 창출하길 기대하고 있다. 이는 그가 만들어내는 예술이 단순히 시각적인 것에서 더 나아가 감정과 사유의 영역까지 확장된다는 점에서, 깊이와 넓이를 동시에 지닌 작품이라는 것을 보여준다.
