Every time I encounter the stillness of nature, the reverberation of its divine silence

You see and hear numerous stories of life waking up and continuing to rest again.

It takes a natural sense of awe in the dynamics of the great cycle.

Methods of recalling nature vary depending on individual experiences and memories.

The same is true of many works by artists.

If we accept the sense of community and coexistence and coexistence that nature gives us

Where time, emotion, memory, etc. were created and accumulated.

I hope the stories there will be calmly transferred to my canvas.

Infinite power and abundant energy in the mountains and seas,

The gentle comfort and deep soul emotions felt in the forest and mudflats,

It fully borrows the energy of clear life given by the colony of forsythia and azalea

I try to express it, but sometimes a small feeling of despair comes.

I'm often asked why you insist on working on the back of the canvas.

The rough fabrics of the weave and weave that you can't feel on the front of the canvas trimmed with surface treatment

This is because they feel that they reveal their raw and raw life.

When you pile layers of paint on a canvas on that rough surface,

The clanking touch and sound of the knife and brush strokes

It always conveys lively pleasure and tension.

I try to color with a deep sense of density.

The great comfort of the calm forest's casual breathing.

The unusually empty low tide and the wait left by the mudflats.

In nature, trees, grass, soil, flowers, wind... all seem to have a conversation with each other.

Listening to the sound makes you feel comfortable and comforted.

It allows us to share warmth and hope with each other as we have to endure and live through difficult days.

I dream of bringing that feeling completely.

I hope that the decisions of purity will come together and become a 'spirit' of good influence.

자연의 고요함, 그 신성한 침묵의 울림을 만날 때 마다

생명이 깨어나고 다시 쉼을 이어가는 수많은 사연을 보고 듣게 된다.

대순환의 역동성에서 당연한 경외감을 받아 들인다.

자연을 회상하는 방법은 개개의 경험과 기억에 따라 다양하다.

작가들의 수많은 작품도 그렇겠다.

자연이 우리에게 주는 삶의 공동체 의식과 상생하는 모습, 공존의 공간까지 수긍 한다면

시간,감정,기억 등이 만들어지고 축적 된곳.

나는 그곳의 이야기들이 담담하게 내캔버스에 옮겨지기를 바란다.

산과 바다에서 무한한 힘과 풍요로운 에너지를,

숲과 갯벌에서 느끼는 온유한 위로와 깊은 영혼의 감정을,

개나리와 진달래의 군집이 주는 맑디맑은 생동의 기운까지 온전히 빌려와

표현하려 애쓰지만 때로는 소소한 절망감이 찾아오기도 한다.

왜 캔버스 뒷면을 고집해서 작업하는지에 대한 질문을 자주 받는다.

표면 처리로 다듬어진 캔버스 앞면에서 느낄 수 없는 씨줄과 날줄의 거친 직물이

날것으로서의 원초적인 생명력을 고스란히 드러내고 있다고 느끼기 때문이다.

그 거친 표면의 캔버스에 물감의 레이어를 쌓아 갈 때,

나이프와 붓질의 사각거리는 촉감과 소리는

언제나 생동감 있는 즐거움과 긴장감을 전달한다.

전형적인 명암법과 원근의 원칙을 적절하게 내려 놓는다.

화면을 평면, 단순화 하기 위해 형태와 색채를 최대한 절제 한다.

무한반복하는 붓과 나이프의 스트로크가 원색의 단순함을 이겨내고

깊이있는 밀도감으로 색채되기를 노력한다.

고요한 숲의 무심한 호흡이 안겨주는 크나 큰 위로.

유난히 허허로운 썰물과 갯벌이 남기는 기다림.

자연에 들면 나무,풀,흙,꽃,바람...이 모두가 서로 대화를 나누는것 같다.

그 소리를 듣고 있으면 마음은 편안해지고 왠지모를 위로를 받게된다.

힘겨운 나날을 견디고 살아내야 하는 우리들에게 서로 기대어 온기와 희망을 나누게 한다.

그 느낌을 온전히 옮겨오기를 꿈꾼다.

그 순수함의 결정들이 모여 선한 영향력의 '정령'이 되기를 소망한다.
